Two new members in the lab!
Akbar Orazbayev and Nadine Omar join the group as master's students.
We are a young experimental research group with a focus on quantum transport in nanoelectronic devices, particularly those based on two-dimensional (2D) materials such as graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides, and more complex van-der-Waals heterostructures. We are part of the Nanomagnetism and Magnonics research unit at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Vienna
At QTL, we investigate the fundamental electronic, spin, and quantum transport properties of nanoscale systems, aiming to understand new physical phenomena and explore potential applications in future quantum technologies. Our work combines nanofabrication, low-temperature transport measurements, and advanced spectroscopy techniques to push the boundaries of condensed matter physics.
On this website, you can find more details about our research projects, publications, current team members and opportunities to join our lab.
We do have open positions for Bachelor and Master students!
